Dr. Lawlor was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and was raised in Connecticut and Indianapolis. He is a graduate of Haverford College and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He completed his residency as Chief Resident at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. Following this, Dr. Lawlor was appointed Director of Emergency Medicine at Kunsan Air Base, Korea followed by a three year tour at the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. While there, he also served as Senior Clinical instructor at the University of Colorado School of Health Sciences. He has been board certified in Family medicine since 1995, and has been a Fellow of The American Academy of Family Physicians since 1998.
